It is with great satisfaction that we invite you to the painting exhibition of the students of Atelie- Aleixa Oliveira, together with the students of the Municipality of Psychology and Speech Therapy of the City Hall of Arujá, guided by the teacher and plastic artist Aleixa de Oliveira and with the support of others. important participants will be present at the show, the works prepared by the students during the year 2019, and also rent paintings from former students, composing the collection of the exhibition entitled - 'Belezas do Nosso Brasil', made possible by the PROVER-2020 project.
The exhibition is based on an Educational Project that aims to prioritize an ethical educational policy to combat social exclusion, promoting interaction and participation / genuine equalization of opportunities, raising the self-confidence of students and young people with intellectual disabilities, training them as social subjects in an artistic cultural historical context, through an Artistic Work centered and mediated by specific development strategies
The event will take place on March 20. Hours from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm

The value of art in a child's life
"Art is inherent in a child's education. Why?
The visually literate student has a wider range of reading in the world, a
more sensitive and investigative look, current more fundamental criticisms, leaving
becoming a victim of superficial knowledge, exploring themes not yet
well-known and enriching reflection. The more she knows about productions
artistic, the more you can approach a better understanding, both of the world,
and of the various existing cultures. When the Student produces and appreciates Art, he can
reflect on your self, your world, your life story, exposing your ideas and
feelings, making yourself heard and listening. As a teacher specialized in the art of
painting with colored pencils and watercolor, I have more than one job to do, a mission:
work with each student, in what he has positive, make him believe that
it can be even better. The goal is also to sharpen talent or help bring it to life
through the art of painting with colored pencils and watercolor, making use of its precious value,
because he is a special human being and has to be remarkable. So, I have very rich
justifications that Art goes far beyond a "relaxing class", or a "pass -
time ", through them technical and visual competences and skills are generated and
contextual, which undoubtedly collaborate in cultural transformation and
construction of ethical and social values, fundamental to the formation of a citizen. In this
